DEPUTY COMMISSIONER LISTENS TO THE PROBLEMS OF PEOPLE DURING SANGAT DARSHAN OF 124 COMPLAINTS RECEIVED, 122 REDRESSED ON THE SPOTIN THE 10 SANGAT DARSHAN HELD SO FAR, ONLY 19 CASES PENDING

DEPUTY COMMISSIONER LISTENS TO THE PROBLEMS OF PEOPLE DURING SANGAT DARSHAN OF 124 COMPLAINTS RECEIVED, 122 REDRESSED ON THE SPOTIN THE 10 SANGAT DARSHAN HELD SO FAR, ONLY 19 CASES PENDING BATHINDA JANUARY 08 (ADVOCATE H S NARULA) Deputy Commissioner Bathinda Dr Basant Garg today convened a sangat darshan program during which he listened to the various problems of people.
Passing instructions to the officers during sangat darshan he directed them to meet every complainant personally and redress his or her complaint. He said that the problems of common man should be dealt with on primary basis and it should be taken care that no applicant faces harassment.
He said that during today’s sangat darshan 124 applications were received of which 122 were addresses on the spot. The Deputy Commissioner has so far held 10 sangat darshan programs of which only 19 applications are pending so far.
He directed the officers to prepare a detailed action taken report of respective department and send it to the DC office so that people are delivered justice in time.
The ADC (D) Mr Varinder Sharma, ADC (G) Mr Sumeet Jarangal, SDM Bathinda Mr Anmol Singh Dhaliwal, DEO (secondary) Mrs Amarjit Kaur Kotfatta and other officers from revenue, power, municipal corporation, power, irrigation, health, police, panchayati raj etc were also present.
